Buttar Sarinh (Punjabi: ਬੁੱਟਰ ਸਰੀਂਹ), sometimes spelled Buttar Sarin/Buttar Sharin, is a small village, situated on the Sri Muktsar Sahib-Bathinda main road. The villagers mostly belongs to the Buttar clan of Jatts. According to the 2001 census, total population of the village is 1,967 with 313 households, 1,033 males and 934 females.[2]

The village is situated at , only 21 km from Sri Muktsar Sahib, 31 km from Bathinda and 253 km from the state capital of Chandigarh.
The village has two main religious sites: Gurudwara Sahib and a Dera Baba Bawa Sahib.
